Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone aims to be aviation talent hub

Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone launched a series of policies to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship according to the development needs of the aviation industry in its efforts to become an aviation talent hub.

In terms of building a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, the zone will promote the development support policy for the integration of the zone and Guiyang University to actively open a green channel for employment and introduce outstanding graduates.

It will encourage and support enterprises in the zone to set up academician workstations focusing on the development of key industries, such as aviation, new energy and materials, big data, as well as cultural tourism.

The introduced office land of the enterprise headquarters shall be included in the annual land supply plan of the zone to guarantee the office land of enterprise headquarters through bidding, auction, listing, and other public transfer methods.

For outstanding projects operated by high-level talents in the zone, it will provide a loan with discounted interest of up to 1 million yuan ($142,091.88) and a bond discount of up to 2 million yuan.

By organizing entrepreneurial competitions, annual meetings, forums, and other activities, as well as introducing or setting up a number of talent work stations at home and abroad, the zone will carry out carrier recruitment.

In addition, the zone will formulate a system of participation in the distribution of production factors, such as knowledge, technology, management, and skills, to encourage high-level talents to turn their production factors into capital to start businesses.

It will also optimize the environment for talent development by implementing a talent capacity promotion funding policy, establishing a talent development fund, and offering housing preferential policies.
