The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Moutai Shuanglong smart logistics park took place on Dec 24 in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province.
They said the park will act as the future product strategic storage center and logistics delivery warehouse for the Kweichow Moutai Group, maker of the famous luxury Chinese liquor baijiu.

The facility will integrate intelligent storage, logistics and commercial functions, as well as cultural displays. Officials said it will involve a total investment of 636 million yuan ($90.88 million) and 200 hectares of land.
It is expected to be completed and put into operation in June 2021 and the projected average annual sales income will be 27.81 million yuan.
Relying on the advantages enjoyed by its important aviation and land transportation hubs, Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone is aiming to build a modern logistics system, becoming the first choice for the development of many companies.
The zone has already attracted 14 Fortune Global 500 companies -- including Sinopharm Group, China Communications Construction Company and Amer International Group -- as well as three top 500 Chinese enterprises, including the Moutai Group and SF Holding.
"Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone's unique location, economic advantages and its good business environment have created the most favorable development opportunities for the implementation of the group's logistics strategy," said Chen Xi, general manager of Moutai Group.
Officials said that Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone will provide the highest quality and most efficient services to create a favorable business environment, to facilitate the construction of the new logistics park and achieve a win-win situation.
