Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone released its industrial development plan (2020-2030) at a development promotion conference on June 12.
The plan is divided into five major parts: strategic opportunities, Shuanglong economic zone's advantages, development vision, key projects and development guarantees.

The zone will focus on developing industries of core aviation, airport high-end manufacturing, and airport modern service, including aviation logistics and aviation manufacturing, new energy vehicles and airport exhibition business.
It will also expand the route network of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, implement the 144-hour visa-free policy and promote the construction of sister airports.
A group of high-end shopping carriers will be built and international high-end brands will be enhanced, which will help the zone improve the quality of regional cultural tourism and build commercial pedestrian streets.
In addition, the zone will expand cooperation with scientific research institutions of enterprises and universities to promote the construction of industrial production and manufacturing platforms, and establish a technology and trade service platform.
According to the plan, the zone will by 2025 become a leading hub for airport-based innovation economy.
By 2030, it will become a Colorful Guizhou Cultural Creative Industry Zone and an international supply chain hub port.
By 2050, it will become a pivotal international supply chain hub port and regional economic hub involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
