The construction of the cargo facility in the third phase of the expansion of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport was recently completed.
The airport is located in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

With a total investment of 53.14 million yuan ($8.08 million), the cargo facility covers a building area of 11,513.68 square meters.
Work included a freight depot, freight office building, substation, special transport depot and a quarantine room. Construction began in October 2019.
When the cargo area starts operating, it will boost the airport as an international aviation logistics center in Guizhou, forming a channel connecting important hub airports and major economies involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
