The signing ceremony for the first batch of industrial projects to settle in Shuanglong Baoneng Science and Technology City was held on April 29 -- along with the launch ceremony for the Guizhou Shuanglong Blockchain Industry Innovation Base.
The Shuanglong Baoneng Science and Technology City is located in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone -- in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- with a total building area of 2.6 million square meters.
The first batch of industrial projects to set up there cover new energy, artificial intelligence, as well as the medical and health care, tourism and logistics sectors.
Companies booking to be resident in the city include 21 listed groups and leading companies, such as Ofilm Group and Beijing Jide Systems Technology Co.
It is understood that the complete construction and development of the area will be completed within three years, including the construction period and trial operations period.
By 2023, it is expected to have achieved industrial clustering, talent clustering and resource clustering. With its cutting-edge technological innovation and diversified service systems, it is seen achieving strategic goals for Shuanglong's industrial structure, economic structural adjustment and industrial upgrading and transformation.
