The average growth rate from January to August of businesses resident in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was 23.03 percent, ranking it first in the city.
The annual reporting rate of enterprises in the zone was 95.74 percent, also ranking it first among the districts, county-level cities and counties under the jurisdiction of Guiyang.
The achievements were reportedly the result of the zone's efforts to streamline its administration, delegate power, improve regulations and improve services.
In the process, it is understood that the branch of the market supervision bureau in the zone has provided a high-efficiency and excellent service for the establishment of companies there. The bureau has done it through a few measures such as simplifying procedures, opening one-stop administrative windows and setting up fast-track channels.
Applications to officially establish an enterprise can now be handed within a working day. They include arranging the business license, seal engraving, invoices, the bank account pre-opening, corporate social security and medical insurance registration, as well as the registration of corporate provident fund deposit information.
The market supervision bureau branch has also reportedly provided consulting services on business laws and regulations for major investment promotion projects, to help companies settle in as soon as possible.
