The Qianyibao Pastoral Museum at the Colorful Town of Guizhou in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, held an intangible cultural heritage research and training activity for Guizhou tour guides on Nov 24.

The event was designed to improve the professionalism of the province's tour guides and help the development of Guizhou's tourism industry.

At the Qianyibao Pastoral Museum, visitors can enjoy unique Guizhou Miao embroidery and ingenious silverware items, the oldest of which dates from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The museum was established in 1999 and has a history of more than 20 years. It moved to its current location in July this year.

Currently, it has an indoor area of 1,600 square meters, and is mainly used for Guizhou specialty products such as embroidery, silver jewelry and jade.

The museum's outdoor activity space covers more than 5,000 sq m and includes a stage for cultural demonstrations and activities, a handmade pottery workshop, an area to decorate silverware, and a reading room. In a variety of ways, the museum helps to promote Guizhou's unique culture.

At present, Shuanglong economic zone is building the Long March Digital Technology Art Museum, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022, with a total construction area of about 55,000 sq m.

Once the museum opens, it is likely to become a popular red tourism attraction and play an important role in carrying forward the great Long March spirit.
