To improve passenger personal items recovery services at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, the customer service center has established an online lost and found platform, which was officially launched in March.
The airport is located in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Now, when handing over lost items, the airport's staff members need only to scan the QR code with their mobile smart phones and fill in the information about the lost items to complete the handover.
When picking up lost personal effects, passengers only need to fill in their personal information on the tablet computer attached to the platform and then they can get back the items.
The platform is said to have not only improved management efficiency, but also reduced the use of paper ledgers and reduced the operating costs of lost and found operations at the airport.
