An integrated development conference for Nanming district and the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on June 11.
The two parties signed an integrated development strategy agreement on the day and the Shuanglong zone handed over its list of social affairs trusteeships to Nanming.
Under the accord, both will conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation in promoting their economic development and optimizing their industrial layout. They will speed up the construction of projects, boost joint investments, cultivate business entities, optimize their commercial environment and strengthen talent exchanges, among other things.
In terms of promoting their economic development, plans are for them to deepen cooperation in the fields of industry, construction, wholesale and retailing. They will also jointly develop accommodation and catering and associated services, as well as negotiate solutions to various problems in the process of economic development and make concerted efforts to jointly serve the overall economic situation of Nanming.
Regarding the handover of social affairs, a one-month transition period will be set up to ensure the orderly and smooth transition of relevant social affairs.
After that, a lead group for pre-existing issues will also be established to solve subsequent problems.
Previously, the Shuanglong zone and Nanming had signed a social affairs transfer trusteeship agreement on Feb 20 and Nanming began to undertake social affairs in the Shuanglong zone on March 1.
As of June 11, a total of 18 units in Nanming were involved in the transfer of social affairs in the Shuanglong zone, with 998 social affairs handed over.
