Guizhou Weite Food Co Ltd is an agricultural product processing company that is dedicated to the production and distribution of healthy vegetables. It grows, develops, produces and sells vegetable foods with Guizhou characteristics.
Founded in 2006, it relocated to the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, in 2018.
The company has formed strategic partnerships with more than 20 vegetable producers and agricultural cooperatives in Guizhou, as well as pollution-free, organic planting bases.
In 2020, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, it gradually moved into online marketing. So far, its fresh food e-commerce supply chain platform has been developed and launched, solving many problems in the fresh food supply chain, especially the challenge presented by group deliveries.
In 2021, the company's sales hit 45 million yuan ($6.71 million). In 2022, the second phase of the company's plant will be completed and go into use, when its annual sales are expected to increase to 80 million yuan.
In recent years, the Shuanglong zone has actively carried out investment promotions of new industrial supply chains for ecological foods, new energy vehicles and equipment manufacturing, among others.
As a result, Guizhou Weite Food Co has branched out into special aviation foods, adding new impetus to the zone's development.
Moving forwards, plans are for the group to also extend its existing food supply chain directly to communities, supermarkets and convenience stores. The goal is that through different product combinations, it will form a symbiotic brand with its partners and interact with consumers directly.
