Since its establishment in 2014, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province has attached great importance to ecological protection while promoting its high-quality development.

The Shuanglong zone has introduced new industries with low energy consumption and low pollution, such as advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information manufacturing, and ecological specialty food manufacturing.
Since the beginning of this year, Shuanglong has actively investigated and rectified polluting enterprises, volatile organic pollutant producing enterprises, construction sites, and road dust.
From January to June this year, the zone's atmospheric environmental quality compliance rate was 100 percent, while its urban domestic sewage treatment rate remained above 98.5 percent.
In addition, the quality of the zone's water ecological environment has gradually improved, and the quality of its soil ecological environment has remained stable.
