The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has in recent years focused on the development of aviation logistics and promoted the development of various aviation formats.

Revolving around the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, the Shuanglong zone has formed a three-dimensional multimodal transportation network of aviation, high-speed rail, metro, express rail, and high-speed expressways.
The logistics industry in the Shuanglong zone mainly focuses on the development of air express, bonded logistics, cross-border e-commerce logistics, cold chain logistics and distribution logistics, and has built a relatively complete aviation logistics system.
Relying on its advantageous location, the Shuanglong zone has been attracting more and more high-quality logistics enterprises.

So far, more than 40 logistics enterprises have set up operations in the zone, including SF Express, YTO Express and Cainiao.
Since 2017, the zone has focused on promoting 17 logistics projects with a total project investment of 13.8 billion yuan ($1.99 billion).
After these projects are completed and put into operation, the logistics enterprises in the zone are expected to achieve an annual operating income of over 20 billion yuan, pay over 500 million yuan in annual taxes, and create more than 10,000 new jobs.
From January to May this year, the operating income of logistics enterprises above a designated size in the zone totaled 119 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.42 percent.
Moving forward, the zone will further optimize the development trajectory of the logistics industry and guide logistics enterprises to adjust the trajectory of industrial development to develop itself into an international logistics distribution hub and a regional resource allocation center serving the whole country.
