Since the recent outbreak of COVID-19 began on Aug 31, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has strengthened the management and control of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport to safeguard Guizhou's air hub.

Visitors to Guizhou must go through three procedures before leaving the airport, according to the latest pandemic prevention and control measures.

All people entering Guizhou from outside the province must make a health declaration. For those who do not know much about the declaration procedure of the Guizhou Health Code, airport staff members will offer assistance.

An alarm will sound if someone is measured with an abnormal body temperature.

After scanning a code, data on each individual's health code is uploaded to the big data platform, and corresponding prevention response information is displayed and classified management services will be implemented.

If a nucleic acid test needs to be carried out at the first stop, staff members will issue a yellow card to the passenger, so that the passenger can enter the nucleic acid test channel.

Passengers who do not need nucleic acid testing at the first station will receive a green card. They can take the green card and hand it over to staff members at the exit to quickly leave the terminal.

Passengers from areas with severe outbreaks will enter a separate channel for closed-loop transfer to centralized isolation places. Passengers from medium and high-risk areas will be transported in a closed loop through 120 ambulances.
