Construction on the YTO Guizhou Zhichuang Park and Aviation Hub Base in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been progressing smoothly.
The base, which has a total investment of 602 million yuan ($84.56 million), started construction in September, 2021.
The project covers a construction area of 177,700 square meters, and will include bases for e-commerce retail and cross-border e-commerce, smart logistics and warehouse distribution, aviation logistics, and internet of things technology.
It is expected to open domestic and Southeast Asian all-cargo routes within three years, giving priority to serving the needs of local high-tech industries in Guizhou.
The base is expected to achieve an operating income of 4.8 billion yuan within five years of starting operations and become an important air cargo hub for YTO Express in Southwest China.
