During the just-concluded May Day holiday from April 29 to May 3, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport saw 2,092 flights depart and land in total and registered passenger throughput of 291,926, a year-on-year increase of 186 percent and 272 percent, respectively, over the same period in 2022.

The top 10 cities that connected with the airport in terms of average daily flight volume over the holiday were: Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Wenzhou, Jinan, Zhengzhou, and Fuzhou.
From April 28 to May 3, a total of 141 special passenger services were handled, and 388 lost items were accepted.
To give passengers a more pleasant and convenient flight experience, the airport launched a number of services and measures during the holiday.
It provided a service handling inquiries for first-time passengers to give them a worry-free experience, optimized check-in services to improve their efficiency, and improved the quality of security inspection services.
