The Songjiayuan Ecological Leisure Camping Base in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been virtually completed and has now opened to the public, one year after construction began.

The base is located next to Kuayue Avenue in the economic zone, about 5 kilometers away from its core area and 15 km from the downtown area of Guiyang.
With an investment of more than 20 million yuan ($2.81 million), it was built by Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Ecological Garden Co and Guizhou Duoledi Outdoor Tourism Development Co.
On both sides of the 1.7-km circular bicycle path, coreopsis and gesang flowers can be seen in full bloom at this time of year, and the clear river flows along the side of the base, forming shoals.
On the right side is a large bonsai garden, in which there is a Masson pine tree that towers more than 20 meters high, adding another dimension to the base.
Currently, some recreational projects there have entered the trial operation stage, and the whole base is expected to be officially operational by the end of this month.
