The leaders of nearly 80 enterprises, chambers of commerce, and venture capital firms from all over the country met to discuss cooperation and the development of "liquor-oriented tourism" on June 17 in a hotel at the economic zone.
Yu Libin, chairman of Colorful Guizhou Liquor Co, which organized the meeting, said the event aims to recruit 100,000 volunteers who are enthusiastic about promoting Guizhou's culture, the traditions and customs of the province's ethnic groups, as well as the province's beautiful scenery and unique products.
Half of the nearly 80 participating enterprises and chambers of commerce hailed from the province.
As one of the youngest national development zones in Guizhou, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone is known for its favorable transportation location and beautiful ecological environment.
Through this event, the organizers hope to build a bridge of cooperation between enterprises both inside and outside the province, to help rural development and promote local products.
Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone has unique transportation advantages as it is home to the province's only first-class aviation port, the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport.
Currently, the airport has 255 domestic and international routes connecting with 136 cities. The economic zone also boasts various ecological landscapes, two national 4A-level scenic spots, several logistics companies, and a range of tourist facilities.
