Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held an investment promotion event on June 20, inviting more than 60 business leaders from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to discuss high-quality cooperation and development.
Since its establishment in 2014, the economic zone has fully utilized its advantageous position as one of Guizhou's national innovation platforms, a national-level airport economic demonstration zone and national inspection and quarantine test area, and an important logistics hub on the main western land-sea transportation corridor, to create a fertile ground for investors.

Over the years, Amer International Group, a high-technology industrial group based in Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province, has landed three projects in the economic zone.
"As one of the first enterprises that landed in the economic zone, we've truly felt that investing here is comfortable, reliable and secure, as the local government has provided excellent and timely services for corporate-government negotiations," said Fu Yizhi, the regional deputy general manager of finance at Amer International Group.
The economic zone not only provides a comfortable working environment for enterprises, but also offers solutions for multiple issues for employees, such as their children's school enrollment, making them truly feel like welcome "guests" who can settle in easily, Fu said.
To promote comprehensive investment promotion and the upgrading of the economic zone's industrial structure, organizers of the event also invited managers from the economic development and construction service departments of the zone to answer questions about issues they were interested in.
In recent years, the zone has consistently focused on following the "Strengthening Provincial Capital" strategy. It has established a leading investment promotion mechanism, and integrated industry resources and professional management.
In the future, it will continue to promote comprehensive investment, optimize and upgrade its industrial structure, advance the healthy development of its industrial clusters, and fully enhance its core competitiveness.
