Since the start of this year, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has taken multiple measures to create jobs or provide business startup opportunities for university students.

By the end of June, the economic zone has already recruited 888 college and university graduates, completing 59.2 percent of the target.

To implement the talent-focused strategy and facilitate employment and entrepreneurship for college graduates, the economic zone launched the "2023 Employment and Entrepreneurship Program for College Graduates" by assigning responsibility to 16 provincial universities and colleges. Through on-campus job fairs, online live broadcasting, and other methods, the program provides job opportunities, policies, and benefits to college graduates.

Up to now, 184 enterprises have participated in specific recruitment events organized by the economic zone at seven universities in the province. Additionally, the Party committee of the economic zone has organized 14 activities to provide job opportunities, policies, and services to graduates and invited university presidents and deans to visit the zone eight times.

While traditional recruitment activities continue to thrive, the economic zone has also moved the job fair to online platforms through live streaming. This has attracted many graduates to explore career options within the economic zone.

To provide college students with a comprehensive understanding of the economic zone and its related enterprises, a new and innovative online live-streaming activity called "Young Talent Recruitment" was launched this year.

By combining a "main venue + sub-venues" live-streaming approach, the economic zone showcased its attractive elements and invited students from Guizhou University and other institutions to visit the zone.
