Guizhou Longdongbao International Airport in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seen its passenger throughput exceed 10 million this year as of July 18, reaching the same level as the corresponding period in 2019.

Since the beginning of this year, the airport has received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration to increase its peak-hour capacity from 32 aircraft landing and taking off to 37.
It has also focused on ensuring safety services and operational support, fully utilizing its regional hub airport function, actively driving the rapid development of transportation, and achieving significant results in the recovery of the aviation passenger market.
In terms of route development, the airport operates 152 routes, connecting 95 cities.
Statistics show that since the start of the summer travel season on July 1, the airport has seen about 1.15 million passengers, averaging 63,800 per day.
