Since its launch in November 2022, the China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-commerce Public Service Platform has attracted 17 enterprises in industries such as machinery manufacturing, tea processing, automotive parts, and maternal and baby products, and three of which are from Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.
The China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-commerce Public Service Platform, authorized by the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce, is the only cross-border e-commerce platform in Guiyang. By providing services such as cross-border business declaration, inquiries, and data sharing for e-commerce enterprises, it is set to support their cross-border e-commerce operations in the city.
Previously, to handle cross-border e-commerce product clearance and customs procedures in Guiyang, companies had to go through channels outside the province, which was a cumbersome process.
With the launch of the platform, this is no longer the case. Moreover, cross-border e-commerce import and export companies can submit their declaration data, including commodity information, logistics information, payment information, and aggregated lists, through the local cross-border e-commerce public service platform, which is then forwarded to customs. Customs reviews and releases the lists, resulting in a faster and cheaper clearance process.
Meanwhile, eligible cross-border e-commerce exported goods no longer need to be summarized and declared again, which improves the accuracy and speed of declarations.
The platform also helps relevant government departments to collect industry data and provide timely data references.
To help more enterprises understand and engage in cross-border e-commerce business, the China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-commerce Public Service Center has been promoting and conducting regular cross-border e-commerce training sessions since April.
