The industrial park, covering an area of 148 mu (9.87 hectares), is funded by the Wenling chamber of commerce in Guizhou province with a total investment of 800 million yuan ($111.27 million) and will introduce companies engaged in new material R&D and production, environmental protection equipment design and manufacturing, and water pump manufacturing, among other fields.

During the fair, Yang Li, deputy director of the Shanghai liaison office of the Guiyang Municipal People's Government, pointed out that Guiyang and Guian New Area are developing vigorously, making it an excellent opportunity to invest in the area.
