Han Junliang, member of the Party working committee and deputy director of the administration committee of the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, led a delegation to participate in the 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Xiamen, Fujian province on Sept 8.
He also attended the Guiyang and Guian foreign-funded enterprise meeting at the fair, during which he introduced the zone to foreign entrepreneurs in attendance.
After several years of development, the zone has built a transportation system including aviation, railways, and urban rail. It has also established an industrial system dominated by advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information manufacturing, and eco-specialty food, Han said.
In addition to showcasing the zone's strength in industrial development, Han also promoted three projects: the standard factory cluster in the zone, the "one bureau and four centers" project, and the hot springs health project.
As an important driver of the zone's industrial development, the standard factories will include six clusters with a construction area of about 2 million square meters.
"One bureau" refers to the International Mail Exchange Bureau, while "four centers" refers to the International Express Center, Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), International Freight Center and Customs Supervision Center.
The project will serve as a platform for the export-oriented economy and promote the development of international trade.
Han also mentioned that the zone is adopting a "hot springs +" development model, with hot spring tourism and ecological wellness at its core, to plan and create international branded hot spring hotels and five-star hot spring resorts.
The goal is to create a comprehensive hot spring economic complex and wellness tourism hub that integrates the health industrial chain.
