In particular, Oct 4 and 5 saw record-high traffic, with a peak of 74,125 passengers. This comes after the airport set a new record of 71,800 passengers on Aug 6 this year.

The most popular destinations during the holiday period were Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Ningbo, Xi'an, Wenzhou, and Hangzhou. There were also many people from East China, North China, and South China traveling to Guiyang.

To cope with the explosive growth in traffic during the holiday period, the airport coordinated with various parties to adjust routes and increase capacity.

More flights to Haikou, Hangzhou, and Tongren were added, and the frequency of flights between Guiyang and Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuxi, and other cities were increased to meet the demands of passengers during the holiday.

The airport actively promoted the use of the city terminal building and the check-in point at Guiyang North Station to alleviate service pressure at the airport terminal and provide convenient air travel services for passengers.

Meanwhile, mobile posts were set up at the airport to guide passengers and enhance their travel experience.
