The route is scheduled to operate three times a week every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Within a month, 24 flights had been operated, transporting nearly 282 metric tons of import and export cargo, worth $8.2 million.

Of that total, 88 tons of imported goods were valued at about $640,000, while 194 tons of exported goods were valued at approximately $7.56 million.

The imported goods included fresh green crabs, and the exported goods mainly consisted of clothing fabrics, hardware, chemical materials, and electronic materials.

Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport will continue to open direct charter flights to major fresh food resource areas, such as Phuket Island in Thailand, Russia and Norway. The main imported goods from these regions include king crabs, snow crabs, lobster and other fresh products, as well as salmon and other chilled and frozen products.

These flight routes will allow more fresh products to enter the domestic market, helping Guizhou achieve a stable economic and social development.
