On Feb 18, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday, 80 people including the zone's officials, volunteered to participate in a tree-planting event in Ganzhuang village, Xiaobi township, in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.

Together, they planted over 200 cherry blossom, camphor, and magnolias saplings.
The economic zone has voluntarily planted over 9,000 trees, done artificial afforestation work on land measuring 15,000 mu, and implemented the "Hundreds of Mountains" project.
The zone's air and surface water qualities have reached a 100-percent compliance rate, and its soil is free from pollution. The zone has now formed a healthy ecosystem consisting of forests, green spaces, rivers, reservoirs, and wetlands.
