On July 13, an IL-76 cargo plane from Moscow landed at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, marking the official opening of the Guiyang to Moscow intercontinental cargo route.

The route, launched by Niannian Youyu (Guizhou) Supply Chain Management Co, a company introduced by the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, is the first intercontinental cargo route in Southwest China's Guizhou province and the fourth all-cargo international route in the province.
As an important driver of Guizhou and provincial capital Guiyang's opening-up, the Shuanglong zone has been developing open platforms, enhancing port functions, and expanding open channels.
It has also been vigorously promoting the construction of the "One Bureau and Four Centers" project in Guizhou to enhance the region's level of opening-up through practical and efficient measures.

The "One Center and Four Centers" project consists of an international mail exchange bureau, an international freight center, a bonded logistics center (Type B), and a comprehensive service center. It covers a total area of approximately 463 mu (30.87 hectares).
In addition to accelerating the development of open platforms and improving port functions, the Shuanglong zone has been actively bringing in and supporting foreign trade enterprises.
In 2023, after inspecting Yexiang Supply Chain Management Co in Kunming, the Shuanglong zone successfully attracted the company to the zone. Leveraging its subsidiary, Guizhou Yexiang Supply Chain Management Co, a new all-cargo international route from Guiyang to the Indian cities of Kolkata and Delhi was launched on Dec 13, 2023.

In May of this year, with the assistance of various entities, another all-cargo international route from Guiyang to Karachi, Pakistan, was opened, managed by Shenzhen Huamao Logistics Co.
While focusing on international air transport, the Shuanglong zone has fully utilized its transportation advantages to enhance airport logistics services and transportation capabilities.
By developing air express, bonded logistics, and cross-border e-commerce logistics, the Shuanglong zone has gradually expanded its logistics scale, filled gaps in transportation infrastructure, and established an aviation logistics industry system.
The Shuanglong zone is now actively applying for the designation of Guiyang airport national logistics hub, aiming to become a national logistics distribution hub and regional resource allocation center.
