The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone and Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce held an afternoon tea conference for foreign trade enterprises in Guiyang and a promotion meeting for imported fresh produce, on July 29.

The event brought together over 20 major local restaurants, seafood markets, supermarkets, and airlines in the Shuanglong zone.

During the event, Wang Lei, general manager of Niannianyouyu (Guizhou) Supply Chain Management Co, and Xie Yuanli, general manager of Guizhou Yexiang Supply Chain Management Co, detailed the newly launched international freight routes and seafood import plans, engaging in direct discussions with local businesses.

Hu Xiao, chairman of the Guizhou Yuqiao Aquatic Products Comprehensive Market, highlighted that the new international freight routes are set to significantly reduce transportation time for king and blue crabs, offering fresher products and better pricing. The market expects to encourage local vendors to cooperate, enhancing the availability of high-quality seafood for Guiyang residents.

Guizhou Ocean No 1 Commercial Management Co, which operates a large seafood plaza in Colorful Guizhou City, expressed interest in collaborating with the airlines to expand its seafood and fruit offerings. The new international routes have improved customs efficiency and reduced logistics costs, enhancing Guiyang's role as a southwestern aviation hub.

In 2024, Guizhou Yexiang Supply Chain Management Co plans to expand its Southeast Asia routes, including flights to Yangon and Ho Chi Minh City, while Niannianyouyu (Guizhou) Supply Chain Management Co aims to introduce routes to Norway, offering more logistical options for Guizhou's export businesses.
