Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport recently achieved a high score in the Customs General Administration's assessment of the core public health capabilities at ports, becoming one of the first aviation ports to meet the standards set by the new national standard implemented on Jan 1, 2024.
This accomplishment solidifies the airport's status as an "International Health Airport" and will further expand international flight routes and bolster Guizhou's level of opening-up.
2024 marks the first year since the new national standard "Technical Specifications for the Construction of Core Public Health Capabilities at Ports" was implemented. The standard sets stricter and higher requirements for port risk prevention, emergency response, and technological support.
Guiyang Customs has actively provided policy interpretations and technical guidance on the new national standard, leading the way in building a smart customs aviation port, increasing capacity, and optimizing regulatory processes.
