Starting in November, direct high-speed trains operate from Longdongbao Railway Station in Southwest China's Guizhou province to Chongqingxi Railway Station in Chongqing. These trains enhance the integration of air and rail transportation to meet passengers' convenient and efficient travel needs.
A distinctive feature of Longdongbao Railway Station is its location 49 meters underground beneath the Longdongbao International Airport terminal, making it the deepest high-speed rail station in the country. It is also Guizhou's first railway station seamlessly integrating high-speed rail, civil aviation, metro, buses, taxis, and long-distance buses for public transportation.
The direct train service from Longdongbao Railway Station to Chongqingxi Railway Station covers a one-way distance of 362 kilometers.
The train departs Longdongbao Railway Station at 7:45 am, stops at Guiyangdong Xifeng, Zunyi, Tongzidong, and Ganshuidong, and arrives at Chongqingxi Station at 10:32 am. The total travel time is two hours and 47 minutes.
A first-class seat costs 232 yuan ($32.28) for the entire journey, and a second-class seat or standing ticket costs 145 yuan.
The new train service will further enhance the connectivity between Guiyang and Chongqing.
