In the era of culture-tourism integration, China Tourism Day has become a key platform for showcasing local charm and heritage. This year, Guiyang embraced the theme of ethnic unity, joining hands with other cities and prefectures across Southwest China's Guizhou province to stage a vibrant cultural celebration.
On May 18, as part of the 2025 China Tourism Day City Relay, Guizhou launched a grand ethnic unity parade in Guiyang, featuring 26 formations and nearly 3,600 participants.

This year brought new highlights: performance times at interactive points were extended from 30 to 45 seconds, and a new segment spotlighted emerging cultural tourism brands such as Yangming culture, the Village Super League, the Village Basketball Association, and the Guiyang Marathon.
Dressed in colorful traditional attire, performers from various ethnic groups turned Zhonghua and Zunyi roads into a 2.3-kilometer "cultural scroll". Four designated performance zones provided stages for showcasing unique talents and traditions.

That evening, the "Let the World See" roadside concert lit up Zhucheng Square with original music, ethnic performances, and lively medleys of classic songs from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
From heritage to innovation, from cultural exchanges to shared celebrations, Guiyang used this parade as a platform to tell its story. Through immersive experiences, the city is weaving a vibrant tapestry of ethnic unity and cultural pride.
