Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone will hold three major themed events from Dec 31 to Jan 3, including an ice and snow lantern festival, a youth music festival, and a creative flea market, bringing an immersive New Year's Eve celebration to both residents and tourists.
The lantern festival will use laser beams and artificial snow-making technology to create a dreamlike scene of light and shadow. Experiencing activities such as paper cuttings, sugar painting, and riddle guessing will also allow visitors to feel the charm of traditional culture.
From 8 pm on Dec 31 to 00:30 am on Jan 1, Colorful Guizhou City will hold a music festival. University rock bands and local rap teams will bring exciting performances, integrating diverse music styles that will light up the night.
The flea market will be held from Dec 31 to Jan 3. It will bring together various items such as old books, cultural and creative works, accessories, and green plants. Residents and tourists can either become stall owners themselves or simply shop around for their favorite items.
