The 2025 summary meeting and exchange activities on the high-quality development of Guiyang's import and export enterprises were held on Jan 9 at the Shuanglong Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Incubation Park, gathering more than 80 representatives from over 50 enterprises, universities, and financial institutions.

Guiyang Import and Export Enterprises Association summarized its development achievements since its opening in 2022. Over the past three years, it has built a solid cooperative relationship with authoritative institutions, including the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Firms and the US Food and Drug Administration China Office, and has established trade liaison offices in Laos and Vietnam, creating a fast channel for enterprises to explore the ASEAN market.
The association has attracted more than 160 high-quality enterprises covering foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce, logistics, and finance, and has served more than 200 enterprises in total.
Walmart's global e-commerce representatives at the meeting outlined a path for Guizhou to connect with the North American market utilizing its large overseas user base. Representatives from eBay introduced their global layout strategy, covering more than 190 countries, to help Guizhou's advantageous categories, including consumer electronics, reach nearly 300 million consumers worldwide. Wildberries representatives shared new opportunities in the Russian and Eastern European markets, including local entry support and access to millions of users.
During the roundtable forum, representatives from the three platforms discussed key issues, including policy implementation, logistics optimization, and risk prevention, to offer practical suggestions and solutions for local enterprises seeking to go global.
The event has built a solid bridge linking policies, platforms, and enterprises, and will further promote Guizhou's foreign trade by shifting from goods trade to service and digital trade, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality development of Guiyang's export-oriented economy.
