Hanting's Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport Hotel opened on March 10 in Building 2 of Topsun International, Jichang Road, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.

According to Song Mei, the hotel's general manager, Hanting currently operates 28 hotels in Guiyang, with another 20 under development. The newly opened airport hotel is the first Hanting hotel in Shuanglong.
Located in the core area of Shuanglong, the hotel is just 3 kilometers from the airport, an 8 to 10-minute drive. It has a total of 124 rooms, designed to serve business travelers, transit passengers, and airline crew members.
Song said that, as a national-level airport economic demonstration zone, Shuanglong enables the hotel to accommodate the large transit passenger flow from the airport. It also captures ground passenger flow from Longdongbao High-speed Railway Station and nearby metro lines, forming a comprehensive transportation network.
Industrial clusters in Shuanglong such as aviation logistics, cross-border e-commerce, and high-end manufacturing have generated strong demand for business travel. Supporting commercial facilities, including surrounding outlet malls, also provide added convenience for leisure travelers.

With the completion of several mid-to-high-end hotels in recent years, Shuanglong has formed a hotel industry cluster that serves diverse needs, including business, tourism, and conferences. In 2025, 98 enterprises above the designated size were added, including 54 in wholesale, retail, accommodation, and catering, bringing the number of accommodation enterprises above the designated size in the zone to 15.
To promote the high-quality development of the accommodation industry, Shuanglong has adopted targeted policies to convert airport passenger traffic into overnight stays. Focusing on the airport as a hub, it has introduced well-known hotel brands and fostered new business formats such as forest hotels and hot spring resort hotels, thereby improving the region's overall tourism reception capacity.
