Shuanglong accelerates industrial park construction

Construction of Guiyang Jiahai Airport Industrial Park, located in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, is accelerating in March.

As a key industrial park in Shuanglong, it covers a total land area of 217 mu (14.47 hectares), with a total construction area of 223,000 square meters and a planned total investment of 800 million yuan ($116.22 million). Constructed in four phases, the park focuses on attracting projects in electronic information, equipment manufacturing, eco-specialty food, and aviation-related industries.

Since its launch in 2021, the park has completed a total construction area of 109,000 square meters. It is now home to four enterprises above the designated size and three high-tech enterprises. Industrial enterprises account for nearly 50 percent of the total, and the park has created more than 500 jobs.

Once fully invested and occupied, the park is expected to achieve an annual output value of 1 billion yuan, helping Shuanglong boost industrial clustering and expand the industrial economy.

To date, a total of 36 enterprises have established a presence in the park. Among them, the 51,000 square meters of factory buildings in Phase I have achieved full investment attraction, with all 17 enterprises now in production. The 58,000 square meters of factory buildings in Phase II have reached a 73 percent investment attraction rate, with 16 enterprises now operating. Phase III, which is currently under construction, has seen agreements signed with three enterprises, with a number of other enterprises currently in negotiations.

Shuanglong will upgrade its supporting services and optimize its service system, aiming to make its standard factory buildings a "strong magnet" for attracting high-quality resources and gathering momentum to empower the zones high-quality industrial development.
