The 2026 Culture, Tourism, and Sports Integration Development Conference, a supporting event of the 20th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference, was held on March 31 at the Guizhou National Fitness Center in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, where relevant experts offered suggestions on the zone's development, highlighting pathways for expanding regional industries.

Shuanglong introduced its investment resources to participants from within and outside the province, covering residential tourism and wellness, hot spring development, and music festivals.
Professor Jiang Yiyi of Beijing Sport University said that Shuanglong's greatest strength lies in its unique and advantageous airport location, adding that it can host more international events in the future to build itself into a "gateway area" for Guiyang.

As a national-level airport economic demonstration zone, Shuanglong has, since its establishment in 2014, utilized the advantages of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, deepened the development of its cultural and tourism industry, improved supporting transportation facilities, and promoted the innovative upgrading of business formats.
It has now planned 27 major cultural, sports, and tourism projects for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) totaling 16.12 billion yuan ($2.34 billion), laying a solid foundation for the regional economy's high-quality development.
